State police are looking for a pickup truck driver involved in a fatal accident early Monday morning
Witnesses said that the vehicle lost control and overturned several times around 11 a.m. before landing on a fence at the bottom of a snowy embankment.
Investigators say they received reports of a vehicle driving the wrong way on the highway and then that vehicle and three others involved in a crash.
Two more children remain hospitalized following the accident along Pontiac Trail.
Family and close friends of Cody Petzold — the man who drove through a construction barricade and over an unfinished bridge in Madison Heights — are asking anyone who knew him to write letters as a way to say goodbye.
Police say the driver crossed the median, striking an oncoming semi truck. The identity of the victim has not been released and the truck driver was not injured.
According to police, the pickup entered I-75 from the closed ramp and drove through an additional barricade on the freeway into the section of the bridge that was under construction.

It happened on North River Road, west of I-94 in Mount Clemens.
