Art Van furniture has kicked off the Forgotten Harvest Good Neighbor campaign with a million dollar contribution that will help the agency provide five million meals.
Farmers who have more than they can sell are turning to Forgotten Harvest and asking them harvest fields full of the good stuff, including squash, zucchini, corn, potatoes and greens.
It’s being called “Hats Against Hunger” and the fundraiser benefiting Forgotten Harvest Food Bank is all thanks to the nation’s top hat maker who calls Metro Detroit home.
