Report: Homelessness Declines In Michigan

The report, presented by leaders of Michigan’s Campaign to End Homelessness, shows that there were 6,143 fewer Michigan residents who were homeless for any part of 2011 than who were homeless during 2010.

Judge: Sex Offenders May Stay In Homeless Shelters Near Schools

A federal judge has ruled that homeless sex offenders may stay overnight at shelters near schools in Grand Rapids despite a state law prohibiting them from living within 1,000 feet of a school.
