Injury Report: Green’s Status Key To Bengals’ Chances On Sunday Against Colts

Arguably the Cincinnati Bengals’ best player, wide receiver A.J. Green is iffy for Sunday’s playoff game in Indianapolis against the Colts. He didn’t practice on Friday and hasn’t cleared the league’s concussion protocol after suffering the injury in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If Green can’t go, the pressure might double for the Bengals to win their first postseason contest since 1990.

Bengals Need To Win Sunday To Shed “Playoff Losers” Label

The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t won an NFL playoff game since January 6, 1990. They beat the Houston Oilers—right there, that tells you it was a long time ago—by a 41-14 score in the wild-card round of the AFC playoffs. Since then, the Bengals have lost all five postseason contests they’ve played in. That needs to change this weekend.

The Indianapolis Colts haven’t forgotten their last meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals in week seven of the 2014 regular season, and look to capitalize on Bengals letdown.

Colts-Texans could come down to a last-second field goal, and it appears to be an excellent week to play perhaps the greatest placekicker in NFL history in the Colts’ Adam Vinatieri.

Thursday Night Football Breakdown: Indianapolis Colts At Houston Texans

Could this be it-the first competitive Thursday night game of the 2014 NFL season? The Colts visit Houston as just a three-point favorite, and both teams are 3-2, so at the risk of being the Mary Swanson to your Lloyd Christmas, I’m saying there’s a chance.

CBS Sports Chris Simms Talks Colts Vs. Texans On Thursday Night Football

The Houston Texans are looking better in 2014 and the Indianapolis Colts have turned things around after a slow start to the year. Former NFL quarterback and CBS analyst Chris Simms took time to talk to me about the upcoming AFC South battle on Thursday Night Football, and he had some great things to say.
