Fifteen Michigan colleges and universities have made the Princeton Review’s list of 155 “Best of the Midwest” institutions, released this week.
The Western Michigan Chapter of the Project Management Institute (www.WMPMI.org) held its second annual awards gathering for an inter-collegiate project management competition April 16 at Davenport University in Grand Rapids. Seven teams from five schools competed for $11,000 in cash prizes, and a Grand Valley team won the top prize of $5,000.

There are more than 2,200 four-year colleges in the United States. This year, seven Michigan schools have been included in the resource that millions of parents, counselors, and college-bound students have turned to for more than 25 years — the Fiske Guide to Colleges.
“U.S.News & World Report” released the 2012 edition of Best Colleges, with several Michigan schools making the cut.
