A juror’s personal matter means there will be a day off in the middle of closing arguments in the corruption trial of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.

“This jury has been very active,” Franks said. “(They have) asked the people to compare exhibits on the slides so they can compare information …The jury is very into the case. It’s perfect, I would think, for the prosecution.”

After nine days, a jury has been selected in the corruption trial of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
