A 20-year-old man who confessed to robbing and killing Eastern Michigan University wide receiver Demarius Reed has been sentenced.
Ed Thomas, 21, has been found not guilty on charges of open murder and robbery in the shooting death of 20-year-old Eastern Michigan University football player Demarius Reed.
Twenty-year old Kristopher Pratt admitted to the jury that he shot Demarius Reed last October at Reed’s Ypsilanti apartment complex.
Kristopher Pratt entered the plea in Washtenaw County Trial Court on Friday and agreed to testify against co-defendant Ed Thomas, whose trial begins Monday.
Kristopher Pratt, 20, of Detroit, stood mute to open murder and other charges in the death of Demarius Reed.
