Integrated Sensing Systems Inc. announced that the United States Patent Office has granted it U.S. Patent No. 8,016,798 for “Fluid Delivery System and Sensing Unit.”

Integrated Sensing Systems Inc. of Ypsilanti and the University of Michigan announced that they have received a $1.5 million National Institutes of Health grant to develop a tiny implant to measure blood pressure of infants and children with heart defects.
Ypsilanti-based Integrated Sensing Systems Inc. said Tuesday that it had received a United States Patent for using miniature, wireless, batteryless, implantable sensors anchored within the heart, as well as other organs, for non-invasive monitoring of cardiovascular biological pressures.
