Study Claims Fuel Efficiency Drives Auto Industry Hiring Rebound

With the launch of new federal vehicle fuel economy rules a week away, the American auto industry has grown by nearly a quarter million jobs (236,600) since June 2009 when the auto industry hit bottom, according to a new report available from DrivingGrowth.org.

Green Groups Say Clean Air Rules Will Save Michigan Drivers A Billion A Year

Michigan drivers will save $937 million a year at the pump in 2030 as a result of new fuel economy and vehicle emission standards, according to a new analysis released today by Great Lakes Regional Center of the National Wildlife Federation.
