DTE E-Challenge: Submissions Wanted in Advanced Lighting Technology

DTE Energy is seeking entries for its second E-Challenge for Energy Efficiency program. This year’s competition, co-sponsored by Detroit-based NextEnergy in partnership with The Engineering Society of Detroit, will focus on innovative energy efficiency technology in advanced lighting.

NextEnergy Awards Grid Logic Matching Funds To Develop Low-Cost Superconductor Wire

Grid Logic, a technology company located in Lapeer, has been awarded a $3.8 million grant through the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy of the United States Department of Energy. To support Grid Logic’s federally required cost share, Detroit-based NextEnergy, the state’s renewable energy industry accelerator, has selected Grid Logic as the first recipient of its MATch (Michigan Accelerating Technology) Energy Grant.
