On Saturday, November 1, police responded to a call that a robbery had occurred at the Family Dollar store located on East State Fair.
Two victims, ages 24 and 26, were sitting in a van talking, when a red minivan pulled alongside them, opened the side door and fired multiple times at them with a high powered rifle.
Police got a tip that a body was in the basement of a home on Ohio Street on the city’s west side, which had about three feet of water in it.
Police say Connie McNeal walked away from his home near 12 Mile and Ryan around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The 95-year-old suffers from dementia and is not familiar with the area.
