To help make travel easier, the Michigan Department of Transportation is lifting traffic restrictions on 94 of 132 projects statewide during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Although MDOT is removing lane restrictions on most state routes this weekend to accommodate the expected Fourth of July holiday traffic, several work zones will remain active or still have some lane restrictions.
