Rouge River Watershed
Saturday is the annual Rouge Rescue, where volunteers will gather at 35 work sites in some 20 communities to clean up along the Rouge River.
Over 3,000 students from local southeast Michigan schools will be conducting chemical tests, examining aquatic life and surveying the Rouge River.
The city of Southfield will host the 41st Annual Rouge River Cleanup on Saturday, June 4 from 8 am to 1 pm, and your help is needed.
As part of an environmental project to determine the health of the Rouge wetlands, First Forecast Meteorologist joined the Rouge River Watershed Frog and Toad survey.
