After all the changes the NFL has made to the way their game is played over the years it still amazes me that in 2012 a regular season game can end in a tie.
I must say after a very impressive week 9 that saw me go 10-3 in my picks I feel even more confident going into the stretch run of the season as teams begin to jockey for position in the playoffs.
With Halloween now behind us that means another week of NFL action is on its way and after posting another 8-5 week, I’m feeling pretty good about myself as my overall record has now improved to 56-42.
I went a pitiful 6-7 during week 6 which brings my yearly total to 48-37.
Stop me if you have heard this before. Ndamukong Suh is a dirty player.
I mentioned last week how it took three weeks to get a solid record for my weekly picks and I seem to have picked up where I left off in week four, posting an 8-5 record last week to bring my total to 42-30!
If anyone has ever been on a football field you can probably tell stories of things that you have found laying on the turf or wedged in the grass that you would expect to be there after games like mouthpieces, tape or even someone’s tooth.
It took four weeks for me to finally have a breakout week after being close the last three, but week 4 by far was my best in pick’em games after posting a 10-4 mark, bringing my total to 34-25.
As the 2012 Major League Baseball regular season comes to a close the debate continues to grow on whether Mike Trout or Miguel Cabrera should be named MVP. But truthfully, does it really matter?
We’re nearly a quarter of the way through the season and I have to admit, I’m very surprised with my 24-21 record in pick’em games, as I continue to get off to hot starts but falter down the stretch.
