Salute to America
In connection with four days of patriotic celebrations at Greenfield Village starting Wednesday night, The Henry Ford posted a quick video of a 1929 Model A with members of the Unites States Army Field Band playing a mini concert.
The nation has celebrated Fourth of July with fireworks for as long as we can remember. Why? Because John Adams, the second President of the United States, wished it. Today, we have several spots throughout and near Detroit where you can enjoy the fireworks.
From street parties and neighborhood shindigs to beer bashes in the park, Detroit knows how to party for the 4th of July.
The weather hampering the plans of many around the area this holiday weekend.
Kensington Metropark will not have fireworks over the Fourth of July holiday. Instead, the park will salute America with fireworks on Saturday, June 11.
