Palace Sports And Entertainment Completing Fourth And Final Stage Of $40 Miilion Renovation At The Palace Of Auburn Hills
The final phase, expected to be done by early November, will feature the installation of a new center court high-definition “Palace360” scoreboard system, upper-level endzone boards with game statistics, LED ribbon boards encircling the lower-level and upper-level fascia, arena tunnel entrance digital displays, and audio system enhancements.
That’s interesting, well, for many reasons, but one is that U of M spent $20 million (yes, MILLION) for scoreboard projects including two, 4,000 square foot LED screens at the Big House in 2011.
Comerica Park has a new scoreboard for the 2012 season.
The school says the project will cost $10 million and will be paid for by athletic ticket and sponsor funds.
