Two Detroit police officers have been recognized for their quick actions which may have saved the life of a 7-year old girl.
“She was like ‘You shot me,’ and he was like ‘Oh man, now my life is over. Why you just didn’t go? Why you just didn’t leave?'”
An off-duty Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy had a very close call while driving on Detroit’s west side.
Police say officers were called to the school and found the boy with a wound in his foot, as the bullet apparently entered the top of his foot and exited the bottom.
Ricard Taylor is charged with two counts of murder in the slayings of 35-year-old Michael Addo at a Rite Aid store and 27-year-old Jordan Rogers in his East Lansing home.
