Ten inches of snow was reported in Dearborn, Romulus and Wyandotte. Nine inches reported in Sterling Heights, Waterford and Yale.

Several Southeast Michigan cities are declaring snow emergencies, meaning people have to keep their cars and trucks off city streets.
The State Police are advising to take all precautions to get ready for the major storm that will hit the area. Precautions include things like having a tank full of gas in your vehicle, food, water, and blankets.
A “snow emergency” means you cannot park your vehicle on city streets in order to allow snow plows to clear the streets of snow.
