A northern Michigan man and his teen daughter were killed when their vehicle failed to stop at an intersection and was hit by a county snowplow.
Michigan is bringing in a new type of snow plow this winter, one that can clear widths up to 25 feet.
When the heavy snow hits this winter, there will be more plows on the streets of Oakland County.
Ten inches of snow was reported in Dearborn, Romulus and Wyandotte. Nine inches reported in Sterling Heights, Waterford and Yale.
Snow plows and salt trucks cleared most of the major freeways and roads but WWJ’s Stephanie Davis reports the same can’t be said for some of the back streets.
