Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc. Tuesday announced that the cocoons from the first stage of its Monster Silk pilot production program have been reeled into threads of the Company’s recombinant spider silk as the production program moves into an advanced state.
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc., which is using genetic engineering to create silkworms whose silk has many of the far stronger properties of spiderwebs, Monday announced that the first two stages of its Monster Silk pilot production program are running ahead of schedule.
Lansing-based Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc. announced Thursday a breakthrough in its commercialization of super-strong fibers based on the chemistry of spider silk.
