After 54 hours of intensive collaboration and creativity, seven new companies have been formed in hopes of becoming successful businesses in the Lansing region, after Lansing Startup Weekend took place this past weekend. The weekend featured the strongest turnout in Lansing Startup Weekend history.
Startup Weekend Lansing is a place for designers, coders, business managers, startup enthusiasts, astronauts, and masons, who are eager to experience a 54 hour weekend like no other.
Five new businesses were created over the past weekend ranging from a company specializing in the customization of canvas shoes to a sort of “Amazon for ideas.”
Lansing Startup Weekend kicks off this Friday, Oct. 5, at the Neo Center, 934 Clark St., Lansing.
