Gov. Rick Snyder has wrapped up a week-long trade mission to China and is returning to Michigan.
Gov. Rick Snyder on Wednesday will embark on his third trade trip to Asia, this time with an added focus on selling Michigan as a destination to Chinese tourists.
Automation Alley, in partnership with Macomb County, the Michigan Defense Center and the Michigan Economic Development Corp. announced Tuesday that 11 companies from Southeast Michigan will participate in a domestic trade mission to the Association of the United States Army 2013 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C., Oct. 21 – 23.
The deadline to register for Automation Alley’s Trade Mission to Indonesia and Singapore is fast approaching. Southeast Michigan companies interested in joining Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, for the mission, to be held Sept. 6-13, must register by July 26 at close of business.
The Michigan office of a Pennsylvania-based IT staffing firm is looking for Michigan companies to participate in a trade trip to China to try to sell more U.S. goods and services there.
Grand Valley State University’s Van Andel Global Trade Center is organizing a trade mission to São Paulo, Brazil, from May 12-17, in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corp.
