The financially struggling U.S. Postal Service has announced that it is considering closing most of its mail processing, including six in Michigan.
The Postal Service plans to close 17 post offices in the Detroit district; 12 of them on Detroit’s west side.
Some U.S. Post Offices, including two in Southeast Michigan, will be closing up shop, because fewer people use the services.
