With jaunty juke box music, employees in classic uniforms — and with classic prices to match — a Birmingham gas station went retro this morning.
Beginning at 25 cents per gallon, gas will be charged at what it cost the year the cars were made. Anyone driving a vehicle 25 years old or older will be eligible for the cheaper gas.
The 97.1 Ticket Chicks hung out at the Woodward Dream Cruise talking to gear heads and chrome junkies about their cars. Do they pass the auto parts trivia game? Would a guy choose their cars over their women? Find out by watching the video.

With the Great Recession at least mostly in the rear view mirror, the car companies will be back in force for the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise.
This year includes some firsts, including a family friendly foot race, new classic car-themed restaurant Vinsetta Garage on the route, and more parking for participants.
Birmingham’s cruise event features a car show with more than 300 classics on Old Woodward, live music, and displays including a Chevrolet military display, and a graffiti mural creative live during the day by Detroit’s own Shades.
