Rotary District 6400 Seeks Entrepreneurs, Especially Women, In Southwest Detroit For Microloan Program
LaunchDetroit, a micro-loan program developed by Rotary District 6400, will host an informational Open House for budding entrepreneurs and small businesses from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Applications for the second annual Entrepreneur-You business plan competition are now being accepted to identify the best and brightest women-owned businesses or women with business ideas. Winners will receive cash prizes and in-kind services.
The Michigan Women’s Foundation is offering three $15,000 prizes to women entrepreneurs in their Entrepreneur You Business Plan Competition.

More than 20 women of virtually all ages and stations gave up a chunk of a sunny Saturday to attend a new entreprenership program being offered by Inforum, the former Women’s Economic Club.
Women with entrepreneurial aspirations and looking to further their education are encouraged to apply for the Katharine Roat Stevens Scholarship Fund award and the Katharine Roat Stevens Education and Training Fund award. The two scholarships are given annually and managed by the Genesee Chamber Foundation.
