Exotic Animals Escape In Ohio; Owner Dead

After a hunt that extended into Wednesday afternoon, 48 animals were killed and six others captured. A wolf was found dead, leaving a monkey as the only animal still on the loose.

Zoo Director: Keeping Exotic Animals Not Uncommon

Following the escape of 48 exotic animals in Ohio, WWJ spoke with Detroit Zoo Director Ron Kagan, who said they’re finding more and more cases of lions, tigers and bears living in non-standard habitats.
