Best 2015 Holiday Concerts In Detroit

The 2015 holiday season is upon us, and with that comes great family entertainment.The Detroit region will feature shows for the entire family to enjoy throughout the coming months. Productions will include long-loved favorites, and some are returning for another holiday run.

With performances by Fall Out Boy, Tori Kelly, Kygo and Nathan Sykes -- the event sells out quickly, but tickets can still be had through station contests. The show is set for Tuesday, December 8 at The Fillmore Detroit.

Created in the 1990s, the Brian Setzer Orchestra is touring its eleventh year of the Christmas Rocks! tour. The 18-piece swing and blues band fronted by the Grammy-winner will play on Nov. 18 and features Setzer's guitar classics, as well as Christmas classics to enjoy the holiday spirit. After so many years of performances, you are guaranteed a fun and musically satisfying performance that will leave you humming holiday classics through the new year.

Taking place on Dec. 18, the top-selling Holiday Act Mannheim Steamroller is bringing their modern Christmas sound to the Fox Theatre. The act's first holiday album was released in 1984, and they've since released quite the extensive catalog of holiday music. In 2015, the latest set is titled Christmas Live! following 2014's 30/40. Collectively between holiday sets and new age releases during Mannheim Steamroller's career, the act has moved 28 million albums in the U.S. alone.

For the first time, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is taking their 1999 made-for-television recording out on the road. A story about a runaway girl taking shelter in an old theater on Christmas Eve, she meets the Ghosts of Christmas and learns her self-worth. The rock opera comes to the Palace on Dec. 29, still in the time frame for the holiday season. Roaring guitars then fused with classical stylings, a show with lasers and video screens is a show the whole family will remember.
