The 4th of July is a day of great celebration around the United States, with the Motor City holding its fair share of events. There are a variety of ways to celebrate, depending upon your interests. Athletes may start the day off participating in a race, being doused with water on the track, while sports fanatics or festival-goers might prefer throwing back a few cold ones.
