Best Irish Pubs In Detroit

Because everyone is Irish on St. Patricks Day, we've compiled a list of the best Irish pubs to throw down a Guinness around Detroit. Some of the Irish pubs have been standing since the 1800s, while others popped up only a couple of years ago. All rise to the occasion on St. Patrick's Day, serving traditional Irish fare, whiskey and pitcher after pitcher of that famous green beer.

St. Patrick's Day starts early at one of Detroit's oldest bars, still going strong over a century after it first opened its doors for business. Since 1902, Nancy Whiskey has been the home to the best in neighborhood debauchery. And when St. Patrick's Day rolls around, you better believe this place knows how to turn it up a notch. Aside from the usual suspects — whiskey and beer — there will be a live Irish band playing music all day and into the night and plenty of corned beef to accompany a productive day of drinking.
