It includes a preschool gallery specially designed for kids under five years old with water play, discovery boxes, a climbing structure and more.

Situated on 125 acres with many naturalistic habitats, the Detroit Zoo’s major exhibits include the Arctic Ring of Life, Australian Outback Adventure, Great Apes of Harambee, National Amphibian Conservation Center, Holden Museum of Living Reptiles, Penguinarium and Butterfly Garden.
