Best St. Patrick's Day Parties In Metro Detroit

St. Patrick's Day is a day to celebrate the Irish. The question is where are the best St. Patty's Day events? Whether choosing to go to parades or relax at a restaurant, festivities may begin at 6 a.m. or 6 p.m., depending on the person. Make sure to choose a safe event that makes you, your friends, and your family happy. Don't forget to check the water as there just may be a green river in your city on St. Patrick's Day.

Arbor Brewing Company is hosting a beer tasting event called "In Like A Lion, Out Like a Lamb" the week before St. Patrick's Day. Purchase tickets in advance for $25 or pay at the door $30. If you choose to dress up and wear a themed outfit, it will benefit you by getting an extra raffle ticket. Come with a hungry appetite and a desire to drink beer. At this beer tasting event, experience multiple beers from the ABC Spectrum. Beer will be paired with the food that is served in the appetizer buffet. This is a family friendly event that is the largest parade in Oakland County. The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. Have fun watching the community come together to walk in the parade and show their support for the Irish. If interested, "Sponsor a Piper". As a sponsor, your group name will be announced as a young piper plays the happy tunes during the parade. The parade will be filled with colorful floats, beautiful cars, marching bands, and many other exciting parade acts.

Date: March 13, 2016 at 12 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The biggest parade in the Metro Detroit Area is the Detroit St. Patrick's Day Parade. Make sure to wear green and partake in this community event. Listen to the drummers and the pipers playing. Wave as the floats pass by. Dance as the marching band and color guard members march past you. Enjoy the balloons, clowns, animals, and many other novelty events. The parade will last approximately two hours. As the parade is downtown, after watching the parade, go out for an Irish meal at the local restaurants. This will be a a day to celebrate Irish heritage.

Whether a date night with a special someone or attending this event as a family-friendly performance, everyone can come to this event. Listen to the former Celtic Singer Cathie Ryan perform solo with the symphony on this special night.
