Best Stationery Stores In The Detroit Area

Sending emails is definitely easier than sending a snail mail letter or card, but there's nothing like opening the mailbox and seeing that you have mail. Here's a list of some of the best card and stationery stores in the Detroit metro area.

It also has a section of greetings cards and stationery that have Detroit themes as well. The store was founded in 2005 by Andy and Emily Linn, siblings and University of Michigan alums, and it opened in its current location in 2009. Hollander's

www.hollanders.comHollander's is located in Kerrytown near downtown Ann Arbor and the university, and features a full store of stationery as well as scrapbooking supplies. The store also offers cooking classes, and if you book five or more at one time, you receive a 10-percent discount. Hollander's sells greetings cards, journals, various stationery products and bookbinding supplies. It's also close to the world-famous Zingerman's, so you can grab a sandwich before or after shopping. There's a parking lot nearby and also metered parking in the area.

The store moved to its current Washington Avenue location in 2006, and still features custom stationery and invitations. Graphic designers are available on-site to help patrons create stationery and/or invitations. Write Impressions also sells merchandise that makes great gifts. In 2004, Lucky magazine chose Write Impressions as the best place to buy stationery in all of Michigan. Parking garages are nearby, as is metered parking.

It has a ton of stationery, gifts and wedding-related items, as well as purses and stocking stuffers. The store may look small from the outside, but don't be deceived. It has a large selection of stationery as well as wedding invitations, save-the-date cards and programs. Stationery can be customized here or you can browse and order stationary online. The store recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and is known for its friendly salespeople and great services.
