There are a lot of different stories as to why National Pancake Week came to be, but ultimately it all has to do with the very simple fact that people love pancakes. There are many places in the Detroit Metro that serve pancakes, but there are only a few that really stand out in the art of flapjacks. If you are looking for some of the best breakfast food around, then consider Toast of Ferndale. Here you will find a great selection of pancakes. There are classic hotcakes, of course, but then the selection goes over the top with blueberry, chocolate chip and granola banana. For those who oddly don’t like pancakes, you will find a complete breakfast menu with gourmet omelets, Tex-Mex breakfasts and other favorites.
