THE DEFENSE
Q: Hi Chad. What kind of beast is this?
A: This is a 2007 model. They call a JK Jeep Wrangler Sahara four-door with the 4x4 package.
Q: What did you have before this?
A: Before this I had a 2007 Impala that I really didn't like.
Q: What made you switch it up from an Impala?
A: I like to drive over stuff. Can't really do that too well in an Impala.
Q: When did you get this? Have you put a lot of miles on it?
A: I got this in early 2010 with about 36,000 miles on it. It's got about 65,000 on it now, so about 30,000. I drive a lot! I like to take it off-roading. It's great for towing stuff. I had to remove a bush from my front yard. I just tied it to the Jeep and whoosh, it was gone.
Q: Wow! What do you like best about your Jeep?
A: I like feeling safe. I like being able to see over other cars and farther down the road. The Impala I had just rode too low to the ground.
Q: If I were in the market to get a Jeep, would you have any advice for me?
A: Honestly, I'd probably tell you to get an older model. These newer Jeeps are nice, but they're really underpowered. If I could go back, I'd get the 4.0 straight-6 model, or a V8 model.
