Life-Saving Transplant Donor Gets The Humble And Kind AwardChuck, Rachael and Grunwald had two special guests in studio Friday. Chris Egen and Sue Cabadas are listeners who met at Faster Horses a couple of years ago. Their families became friends and when the news came that Sue would need a kidney transplant, Chris, an Allen Park police officer, offered and was a match! This year at Faster Horses, they had a chance to meet Dierks. After hearing their story, Dierks brought them on-stage and dedicated his song Riser to them. Chris credits WYCD giving him and his wife tickets to meeting Sue and her husband. We presented Chris with the Humble and Kind Award for his life-saving donation.
