Walsh College, Ford To Offer Project Management Workshop: Beginning July 7, Walsh College and Ford Motor Co. Fund and Community Services will offer a free "Take Charge" Project Management Fundamentals workshop for workers in transition. The "Take Charge" program was initiated in January 2009 by Walsh College faculty and staff to assist the state's workers in transition in pursuing new careers in business. With the support of the Ford Motor Co. Fund, the program has served more than 2,000 individuals through 94 workshops. Registrations for the current workshops stand at 9,000, with about 2,200 remaining openings. Participants can use the certificates given at the workshop's completion to waive application fees to Walsh College degree programs. Workshop space is limited and online registration is required.
