Public Can Race On MIS Track

Want to experience what NASCAR drivers go through every week? Race fans can take their cars around the two mile track of the Michigan International Speedway on certain days in August, paying $25 for three laps.

Drivers will be limited by the MIS pace car to a maximum speed of 70 miles per hour.

The track will be open Aug. 2-4, Aug. 6 and Aug. 23-25.
