The University of Michigan regents have approved designs for a $2.5 million practice facility for the men’s and women’s golf teams.
Thursday’s decision gives the go-ahead for further work on the 10,000-square-foot facility. It was designed by Ann Arbor Architects Collaborative.READ MORE: Protesters Call For Huron River Polluters To Pay Up
The money is coming from gifts and athletic department funds.

The structure will provide year-round practice facilities, including a putting and chipping area and driving bays that use the existing driving range.
