90-Year Old Rides For MS

A 90-year old Farmington Hills man is biking more than a hundred miles across Michigan this weekend to raise money to battle Multiple Sclerosis.

John Stoner is expecting to raise $10,000 during this 150 mile bike ride that he's been doing every year since 1982.

His team is Sunny days. This year is special for Stoner because his three daughters and 18-year old granddaughter will join him for the ride.

When asked his secret to being so healthy and so active at 90 Stoner said he prays and think of all of the things he has to be thankful for.

"I swim three days a week and I swim six laps underwater, 15 laps total," Stoner told WWJ's Roberta Jasina adding he doesn't drink and has a good wife.

Stoner says when he can't sleep, he gets out of bed and does push ups and other exercises for about a half hour.
