Detroit Children's Museum To Reopens
After being closed since 2009, the Detroit Children's Museum is now reopening, to be run by the Detroit Science Center.
Originally developed by Detroit Public Schools, the museum features hands-on exhibits for kids, and has been a traditional site for early childhood and elementary school field trips.
The building features permanent exhibits on kids and their world, as well as a planetarium with shows each day.
The museum is located close to the New Center in Midtown Detroit, only a few blocks from the Fisher building at 6134 Second Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. Visit the Detroit Children's Museum website for more info.
