Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo
Three fair and realistic expectations of Ndamukong Suh in 2010.
1. That he gets five or more sacks. Traditionally defensive tackles don't rack up huge sack totals, but the Lions aren't paying Suh a guaranteed $40 million for just gap control. He has to make plays.
2. That he proves durable enough to make it through a 16-game season. Often, the toughest adjustment rookies have to make is to the length of the NFL season.
3. That he is good enough opposing offensive coordinators must account for him. That way Suh would make the players around him better.
