Couple Killed In Crash

An elderly couple was killed when a car and pick up truck collided, Friday afternoon in Chesterfield Township.

Police say a man in his 50's, was driving his truck on Jefferson, near Pheasant, when he crossed the centerline hitting a car.

A yet unidentified couple was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was injured and was rushed to Mt Clemens Regional Hospital for treatment.

Police say they do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
