An 84-year-old man could face assault charges for allegedly hitting Eastpointe’s police chief in the head with a mobile phone, following a city council meeting Tuesday.
Police say Frank Zundl hit Chief Michael Lauretti in the forehead, as the chief attempted to remove the man from City Hall.
