$1M Up For Grabs In Biz Plan Competition
Got any bright ideas? Especially for a new business venture? You might take part in the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition.
Dave Egner of the New Economy Initiative says there's a half million dollar prize for the best and brightest business concept.
Egner says they'll be looking at how feasible is the business concept or idea...is it something that can be sustained, can over time grow and create jobs? Then it really breaks down by individual sectors and what's possible.
The idea behind the contest is to show Michigan is still the place to go for innovation and business opportunities.
The application deadline for the company competition is Oct. 6. The deadline for student plans is Oct. 22.
