“It is extremely critical for us to have a provider that stands behind us and stands behind the reliability of our SaaS offering,” said Mark Wright, Osiris COO and CIO.

Another requirement Osiris must meet is to be PCI compliant. Being PCI compliant verifies that a merchant or payment processor has conformed to the security standards set by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.

“It was very important to us to have a data center that was SAS 70 certified and be PCI compliant,” Wright said. “We also wanted a data center that had a great track record with reliability and service.  We found this all at Online Tech.”

Online Tech is offering Osiris its entire SaaS hosting platform,  including fully managed hardware servers, 24X7 monitoring, operating system upgrades and complete management of any server issues that might arise. Each of Osiris’s servers are housed in one of Online Tech’s Tier 3 SAS 70, PCI compliant data centers.

As a SAS 70 data center, Online Tech has demonstrated that its data center has the proper controls and procedures around physical and network security, environmental controls, system availability, and performance and confirms that those controls and procedures have been followed consistently over time.

“As a Michigan based company, we feel very strongly that it is important to do business with a Michigan company when we can,” Wright said. “We found a great reliable service provider with Online Tech, a Michigan based data center.
