New Web Site For Troy Restaurant Ocean Prime
The Ocean Prime restaurant chain has relaunched its Web site, www.ocean-prime.com, as well as a local site for its restaurant at Big Beaver and Coolidge roads, www.oceanprimetroy.com.
The site was designed by Columbus, Ohio-based Madison & Fifth.
The site offers bigger, bolder photography and the addition of high definition videos.
Additional new features include:
* An enhanced, more detailed Private Dining section to make it easier for event planners to view and choose menus and room configurations for their special occasions and business meetings.
* A mobile-friendly set of pages, automatically delivered to guests using mobile devices to reach the Web site. These mobile-friendly pages will enable reservations on-the-go via the Mobile OpenTable service, the ability to map directions and view mobile-friendly versions of all menus. Navigating these mobile pages is touch-enabled for guests with touchscreen phones.
* A new Table Talk section. This blog-style feature allows members of the Ocean Prime team to contribute food, wine and special event information including an on-going series of video-based chef tips filmed with Chef Brian Hinshaw, vice president and executive corporate chef for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants.
* The Web site's home page features a "Today at Ocean Prime" feature box.
* The Web site highlights four videos in the Table Talk section -- one is an upbeat, behind-the-scenes look at how the entire restaurant team connects and ramps up for the evening before greeting guests; the other three are great 'how to' chef tip videos presented by Hinshaw from 'How to Cook a Piece of Steak' to 'How to Dice an Onion.' All tips connect to recipes provided in the Table Talk section. Additional videos will be uploaded to the Table Talk section on an ongoing basis.
* The same convenient online reservation option through OpenTable is available with the newly re-launched Web site. An added feature is that the reservation option is available site-wide, on every page, rather than just on the home page.
* As with the prior Web site, online gift card ordering is enabled and guests who wish to follow and connect on social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, will find these links available.
Ocean Prime showcases a large selection of prime seafood and steaks, as well as handcrafted cocktails and world-class wines. Encompassing all of the retro elements of a supper club, Ocean Prime also features a beautiful outdoor patio terrace with a fireplace, a lively cocktail lounge and piano bar and three private dining rooms with seating for up to 60 guests.
