Coach Found Guilty On Sex Charges

A former basketball coach at Dundee Middle School has been found guilty of four felonies in connection with a months-long relationship that began last year with a 13-year-old girl.

A Monroe County Circuit Court jury delivered the verdict against 47-year-old Richard Neff on Wednesday.

The Monroe Evening News reports the jury deliberated for a few hours before reaching its decision.

Neff denied he had engaged in any sexual acts with the now-14-year-old girl.

She testified the two would kiss and hug and perform sex acts on each other.
