A young lady from Roseville is dead after an early Saturday morning, head-on accident in Sterling Heights.

Police say the woman was driving on Moravian north of 15 Mile Road just before 1 a.m. when her Pontiac Grand Prix collided with a Dodge Charger.

The 20-year old from Roseville was pronounced dead at the scene

A 24-year old man from Clinton Township was driving the second car. He is in stable condition at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.

The names of the drivers aren’t being released.

Police investigators are trying to determine which car crossed the center line and caused the accident. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident, according to police.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Sterling Heights Traffic Safety Bureau at 586-446-2920.
