Garbage Truck Hits, Kills Woman In Wheelchair
Authorities say a garbage truck has struck and killed a woman using a motorized wheelchair in southwestern Michigan.
The Grand Rapids Press reports the woman was crossing a street in Wyoming when she was hit Monday morning. The woman, whose name wasn't immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were interviewing the driver to determine whether the truck or the wheelchair had the right of way.
