Awards And Certifications From October 1-3

GloStream Electronic Health Records product certified: Troy-based gloStream said Friday that its gloEMR 6.0 electronic medical records software system achieved 2011-12 compliance and was certified as a Complete EHR on Sept. 30 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011-12 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, better known as the federal stimulus. Detroit's Segura Named To Federal Committee: David Segura, CEO of Detroit-based VisionIT Services, has been named by President Barack Obama to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations. The appointment will give a Detroit-based CEO input on United States trade policy. Earlier this year, VisionIT was also selected to  participate in the White House Forum on Modernizing Government, a group of 50 CEOs from across the country. More at www.visionit.com.
